Andrew Gunning is a Partner with RSKW (www.rskw.co.uk), a water focused consultancy and specialises in hydrogeology and particularly groundwater protection. Within the unconventional gas sector Andrew's experience includes leading the groundwater component of the SHEER project ( www.sheerproject.eu), several risk assessments for water companies related to shale oil and gas development, the design and implementation of drilling programs and the  successful completion of planning applications and stakeholder engagement programs. His 30 year career as a geologist has covered upstream oil and gas, mineral exploration and water management and has included technical consultancy and strategic advisory roles. Andrew is educated to MSc level in geology (Newcastle University) and is a chartered Engineer and Chartered Geologist.
